Just put a new bulb in my photo lighting set up, as the bulb I used to use isn't being produced anymore. So kind of testing it out. For this one I don't know if it is the bulb or the set up itself but this is actually a pretty strong coin just in later die state. Looks kinda terrible in the photo.

The varieties here are pretty minor, with a bit of an RPM somehow making it into the CherryPickers' Guide as FS-501, and a DDO that is pretty close to invisible. It also seems to be about the most common FS coin in the Washington series as I don't look at a lot of quarters and yet have had five of these cross my desk in the last two months or so.

When I scoured the obverse for any DDO, it did look like some hub doubling below the TRU with a tiny notch on the T. I was thinking that was it, as didn't see anything else. But the coin is pretty late die stage so a mild class II could just be lost in the softness.

Yea those and the 52S are incredibly common. The value isn't much higher than the normal coin for the year so I have not added one of these to my collection. One day.

Thanks for all the kind words! I am guessing one of the reasons these are so common is because they have almost no premium so folks just skip it.
