Are 100 Silver Certificates and 82 $2 bills worth anything other than face value? Thanks

Can't generalize - depends on the Series and condition of each note.

I sorta figured that.

These are common bills my Aunt saved, and she passed away.

crispy notes of those types prior to Series 1976 are likely to carry at least a small premium over face value

Condition is key, crisp uncirculated bills are worth several multiples of face. Heavily circulated are generally worth face. Put it this way I paid $3 for 1976 $2 CU star notes a few months ago. I wouldn't buy these in uncirculated.

Consecutive is really no big deal. The notes shown are considered common. A entire pack of 100 $1 SCs will definitely have a premium. The real value lies in the fact that they were handed down from a family member.
