I can't make a call on this one. HALF DOLLAR looks like MD but is evident in PCGS photos for 802. The C in AMERICA leads me to believe this is FS-802.

Thoughts?

Looks like the C took a circulation hit.

In the image showing the RIC of AMERICA, it would appear the stars are showing splits. No way to really say which die, but does look like something there.

The MD is significant and obvious as I stated, the C and I look nearly identical to 802 published images. Thx for pointing out stars Tropical, was so focused on lettering that I had not even noticed. I'll get it back under scope for analysis.

True, the MD is obvious so don't show images of it. Show the doubling and specifically if any of the interior stars are doubled.

Appearance of star splits is just lighting and a hit in last pic - it is all MD. Thanks all.
