have there been any found varieties for 2008 d's yet? I just picked up a box of penies this afternoon from my bank. 15 rolls look to be uncirculated. the rest of the rolls have 1 or 2 older pennies mixed in and one roll was truly mixed.
so... I was wondering if anything has been found yet.

thanks in advance

sully, take a couple of the coins and study them. Get familiar with both the obverse and reverse designs. Once your comfortable with the design, then check the rest. Look for what is supposed to be on the coin and any oddities will jump out at you. If you just check for known varieties you'll probably miss any new ones. Who knows, the next great discovery may be yours.

Click on die variety search in the left column and then enter a date in the white box.

Sully - coppercoins.com is not down or broken - the areas you are clicking into were never finished before development on the current version was abandoned in favor of a completly new site release that will be available in a couple of months.

Your computer and the site are working fine. To search for die varieties for any given date, just click on "die variety search" from the home page, then enter information on the next page to constrain your search to what you would like to see. That part and the forum are the only two areas of the current version that have been completely kept up to date.
