Tell us the source of all the other "rarities " in addition to the real source of the 1917 DDO you posted . Provinence would certainly help. The one thing all of us veteran dealers / collectors know Rare coins don't grow on trees , but one heck of a lot of Counterfeit coins do come from " Bigtree Money Company" . Not saying all of what you are about to show us is counterfeit, but we wait with breathless anticipation! Please share .

You can buy these online for $1.30 each, or just $1 if you buy 100! If you want to find them, the listing is titled "Reproduction USA Small Cents Doubled Die Obverse 1917 Lincoln Cent Copper Custom Metal Coins"

Just for curiosity sake, what is the cents weight? It is a fake. There is no way a cent that is 106 years old and the first one was just found with that type of doubling.

Martinez, compare your purported 1917 LWC DDO to this counterfeit 1955 LWC DDO for sale on Etsy. Notice how on both, the doubling on LIBERTY is clockwise, yet the doubling on the date is counter-clockwise. This cannot occur on an authentic doubled die coin.
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

The bow tie, lips, chin and most of all the nose don't look like an authentic 1917 LWC. For that matter Abe's profile doesn't look like any other Lincoln Cent I'm familiar with. Put me in the solid fake column.

I am unschooled on most of these doubled die questions. But, in looking at this coin I see the same "Chinese" look that I've noted in others identified as such by the CCF experts. In addition, I looked at the doubling on "Liberty" and wondered how it was possible to have the Rs intertwined as they are. Could this actually happen on an authentic die? Just curious:

This is a fake, sorry, we have seen this before. Notice how the date and the motto 'IGWT' is rotating CCW and liberty is going CW. That cannot happen everything will rotate in the same direction not both. another clue that it is not authentic it that the portrait is not doubled.

@ Martinez101
I understand your excitement for this coin. Sorry is fake coin and someone here posted you how you can buy chip those pseudo-replica of the 1955.
For you to see better: Liberty has doubling North left 1917 has doubling North Right IGWT has doubling East to West (Left)
If you thing physically, this Die movement will be impossible to have, as is Perpetua mobile.
