Spence Moderator United States 34413 Posts	Posted 05/05/2023 06:33 am @mlz, to help learn about mintmark errors, I recommend you spend some time looking at the varietyvista website: http://varietyvista.com/ To help figure out what is going on with this mintmark, we will need a nice closeup image as mentioned above. Typically mid-sharpen mint marks are the result of mechanical damage, but there might instead have been a small die chip that caused the letter S to be oddly shaped.
