I agree with Spence (above). No errors seen--just damage, wear, and crud accumulated over time. For fun, try giving the coin a long soak in 100% acetone.

Rim damage, and it appears that this coin got the same red treatment as the other one you presented the other day and is wearing off in the same manner.

Coins are not stamped, they are struck.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...
