no mint 1988 Lg. One Cent US Vs. Standard 1988 US. Mint Penny

Hi I have this large one Cent 1988 Penny.
I'm a new beginner in coin collecting. And here is my first strange looking Penny. Along with this post is a 1988 one Cent Penny for comparison, has same wording just difference in size.

My question is has any one here came across a large one Cent like this? Any information would be highly appreciated. It's a tab smaller then a nickle weighs 2.7 grams

Texas Cent: A cent with a larger-than-normal diameter that was intentionally damaged outside the mint. The traditional method is hammering the cent between pieces of leather.

No, not worth more than a normal sized cent. What I have heard is that folks would place a zinc cent between 2 pieces of leather and vise it down a lot of times it will loosen the copper cladding from the zinc core. In fact, looking at your newer images it appears like there is no copper on it. Can you verify that?
