Hello, I found this coin that judging by the monogram should be from Eastern Friesland.

I could not find this coin on the Krause World Coins, at least the date. According World Coins KM#166 was minted till 1734 and KM#185 started being minted in 1736.

I have tried to find informations online.. without success. Any idea?

This is a tough one. Certainly the coin is KM#185, as the monogram is that of Carl Edward (Karl Edzard). He became ruler June 12, 1734, so it is possible that this type was struck in 1735.

acsearch does not show any sales of a 1735 1/12 thaler, and I cannot find one on MA-shops (there are many examples in the 1740s). All the details of your coin (except the date) match well with this 1736: https://www.acsearch.info/search.html?id=10805814
The fonts and the number styles look OK to me. I do not see another possibility for the last digit (i.e., it is not a 6, or a 7, or an 8 or a 9).

A weight of about 3 g. is correct.

My guess is that KM is missing this date. We would need someone with a good Germany catalog to check.

Added: Using Ostfriesland in a search will turn up a lot more than "East Friesland".

Thanks for the information. Indeed a comprehensive German catalog would be handy.... but I agree with you and probably it's a missing date on the World Coins.
