I'm a coin guy and dabble in peper currency if I spot something off. Pretty sure it's nothing but to be 100% sure I will let you experts give me some input.

Thanks in advance!

Well it is following the creases - I'll say that the note was folded and the discolored portion was on top and got stained.

Good to spend then? I'll wait til tomorrow and see the final call. Pretty sure it is a stain too. Can't be too sure though.

It appears to be post-BEP trauma.

agreed...looks like post-BEP grunge/staining on the exposed section of a folded note.

Agree its a spender since the folds are exactly where the 'stain' is that was after the BEP printing. There are solvent smear errors so yes keep checking for things like that but this is not one of them. A dissolving solvent is used to clean the ink off of the printing plate between prints. If there is too much solvent used or the solvent isn't wiped clean before the print process begins, a solvent smear error will occur. This type of error will not bleed through the paper.https://www.pmgnotes.com/news/artic...smear-error/ and https://varietyerrors.com/error-ban...worth-a-ton/

It was folded into quarters and looks to have a wallet stain.
