Can anyone help me identify my Penny? It seems to be struck on may be a nickel template. The outer realm edges are way hair, and the outside rim seems to be Zane maybe and the face of the penny. Most of the Abraham Lincoln is black and it's a 1985 D. The Li in liberty is gone and you can't see in God we trust on the reverse side. It's all smooth, and the memorial is all black. You can see were United States of America has been struck, and it goes on the coin and up the rim.

*** Edited by Staff to Add Year / Mintmark to Title. It's very important to have in the title. ***

Affectionately referred to here as a Dryer Coin. Not a mint error.
