2015 D Lincoln Cent- Defective Planchet? Any Ideas?

Jackmack0 New Member United States 8 Posts	Posted 05/17/2023 12:12 am Help please. There's a lot of the outer rim missing on the obverse & reverse of this 2015 D Lincoln Cent. Could this be from a defective planchet or defective copper plating? Thanks in advance for any info!! I'm still pretty new to coin collecting so any advice is greatly appreciated!! When the underlying zinc core was exposed, it began to deteriorate. This coin would be a spender for me.
