I'm not seeing anything that screams fake. The weight is a little low by about half of a gram but that can be explained by the amount of wear. Diameter is right on. Looks to be about VG-10. I digress to those more experienced with the series for their opinions.

Serious photo overload - we only need one in-focus well lit and properly cropped photo of each side of the coin.

Looks genuine to me, agree on VG range grade.

The weight is consistent with the amount of wear (typically coins lose about 5% of their weight by the time they hit AG).
Very nice coin, a date you typically don't see on Seated dollars (fewer than 50K minted).
At this point, silver dollars weren't really circulating in the States (outside of the West) and were mainly used in foreign commerce.

Genuine, no question to me. Nice problem-free looking circulated piece!

I see no problems with it. I like the circulation cameo.

According to the PCGS website, "Most of the mintage of the 1865 silver dollar is believed to have been exported to Central and South America. Circulated grades: low mintage + many exported = rarity today. Circulated specimens are very scarce, possibly even scarcer than 1864 (although 1864 has a lower mintage)."

You have a real winner there!
