Hi all,
There's currently some debate here as to whether or not this coin is authentic. 19mm / 2.9g. Your thoughts please.
Many thanks.

Hello:

You cut the photo out of the background and I think that remaining background is some sort of a wooden table. I say that as others might think that is bronze around the coin, but it is just an artifact of your photo technique. I downloaded the coin, blew it up, and the coin is ancient not to worry, in my opinion.

Thank you L.
The hint of background you mention is actually my hand!

The edge cracks appear to be superficial and don't match obverse to reverse. The extra metal near the eye and cheek is troubling.

Conflicting opinions, that's troubling.
Which is the extra metal? I'm not quite sure what is meant by this.

The "extra metal" Kushanshah refers to is, I would assume, the blob beneath the eye.

For me, it's the "Bulgarian lips" on both obverse and reverse that are the biggest red flag.

Sap:

This one seems to have the same lips just less worn.
