I can't find any 2007-D Wyoming DDOs like this that are documented thru Red Book, PCGS, varietyvista, doubleddie.com, or any other sources I usually use to help me verify possible errors.
The lettering all across on the obverse has what appears to be some solid notching along with extra thickness. Here are a few examples of the notching so took last night .
Would this be considered Class 1 Hub Doubling? And if so, how would I go about getting this verified/documented? Wasn't sure if sending it in for grading would be best, or if there is a different way to get this (possible) variety listed as an official DDO.
Thanks in advance for any and all input!

The main problem I have with this being a DDO, is that all the notching and apparent doubling all trend towards the rim, regardless of where it is on the coin. (Liberty the doubling goes to the left, the Motto IGWT goes to the right side.
So I think that this is DDD.

@dearborn, that is a valid point! Thank you for pointing that out to me. This is exactly why I love posting on this forum!
My understanding is that DDD does not show notching? I noticed immediately the "shadowing" up against the letters which I assumed to be DDD, but the thickness and notching is raised and completely separate from that flat shadowing.
Maybe Class 2 doubling would be more accurate? Since that class is known to show doubling/notching towards the rim and can be a little inconsistent from what I've researched. Or could be a combination of classes, I suppose, but combos are way beyond what I'm comfortable trying to identify right now lol.

yeah, I can't explain away the notching myself. That much is up and above my knowledge level there. I hope that someone will come across this soon and maybe come up with a better explanation.

I'm hoping so too!
Considering submitting it for attribution, but not sure which service to use. Currently researching about 4 different ones #128517;

If you submit it, don't sent it to a TPG (third party grading) company. try Variety Vista or Wexler's when they start accepting coins again. I think if you are patient, I would wait for Wexler's as the new person that is taking it over is a member here on CCF.

That's good to know about the Wexler's site, that he is a member here. Seems like everyone is backed up on attributions or making changes. Coppercoins which has nothing to do with quarters I've found is re-doing their website. He said about a year out still on that one.

Really cool about Wexler's! That is one of my personal favorite reference sites, and was the first place I checked into about attribution services. I was super disappointed to see that they're not offering that service right now, so I think I might take that advice about waiting.
Didn't realize copper coins was also doing a site revamp. The amount of info just about pennies on there is mind blowing.
