The top of the loops on the 9's are too thick and the 5 is tilted and the tail does not line up with the vertical bar. Also the "waffled" pattern on the flag should be behind the entire area where there are stars. It is also missing the 4th sunray. datadragon Pillar of the Community United States 1648 Posts	Posted 05/22/2023 10:26 pm Confirmed not authentic. Do you have a magnet? A real Silver Eagle is 99.9% pure silver, which is NOT magnetic. A real Silver Eagle will not stick to a magnet. The fake Silver Eagles are EXTREMELY magnetic, and a real piece is not magnetic at all. If you see a Silver Eagle that weighs more (or less) than it should and it is also NOT magnetic, it is likely a steel core with a layer of silver over it. One troy ounce will ALWAYS be 31.103 grams.
