This coin has a nice golden tone to it.

I'll say MS-65, super coin.

Some pretty extreme obverse die polishing going on there! I can't get a good feel for the fields on this one, same with the high points. I'm not quite convinced it MS. If it is, luster will hold it back from GEM. Without sharper pics, I can see AU58-MS63/64.

Couple of very minor dings, bit hard to see under the characteristic dark patination commonly seen on Buffs, but they are there. MS-64.

Looks really clean, no major detractions to my eye. MS66.

Very light slide or cabinet rub to the high points with the new pics. A few small ticks but no major distractions. I still feel luster will keep this out of GEM, but not enough for AU. I'll bump my vague guesses to MS63/64 with new images.

i think this is decent strike. hard to tell the real color. if it is gold toning that adds some value and could bump it a bit. some minor marks on buff's shoulder, body and rear quarter. I cant see it less than MS65 and if the color has that gold tone along with the nice strike i'd say it was closer to MS66

This coin is currently in an AU58 holder but I'm thinking about sending it to PCGS with a couple other NGC graded coins for crossover see how they do.

I was thinking mid-MS until you said that it is currently graded as an AU-58. I'm thinking that there's something that we're all not seeing. It's a beautiful coin for sure! I'm stuck with a low MS regardless of the previous grade. Am curious!

AU58 seems way too low for this coin.

Cointree! Yes it does seem too low. I'll stick will low MS for now. Why would it have been a 58 to begin with? Hmmmmm

My complete inability to grade Buffalo nickels is one reason why I don't buy very many high end Buffalo nickels (other than the price!) Not sure how I missed this one by a country mile, but wow! I blew that one.
