I have a 1953 Wheat penny in my collection and I just noticed this is a double die I believe. Can anyone help confirm this is a double die? This is uncirculated, and wanted to know if it would be graded in mint state and what the value of my Wheat penny would be? Thanks so much for helping!

I do not see a doubled die. Here are the sites we use:http://www.coppercoins.com/advsearch.php
http://varietyvista.com/
http://doubleddie.com/
Check all three and let us know if you find a match. Here is a grading site:https://www.PCGS.com/photograde/

And sorry to report that there is no DDO on this well circulated cent.
I do see a die chip/broken post on the B of liberty and some light Machine Doubling.

On doubled dies, don't look on the outside edges of the devices. On a doubled die the spread will seen on the inner parts on the devices:

The the bottom image it is showing flat field doubling. ( Machine Doubling on the first strike, that got flattened on second strike of this proof coin. So that FFD is also not a doubled die, but Machine Doubling. Why is this not a doubled die? Because only a doubled die, die, can strike a doubled die coin. Spread is seen on the centers of devices, enlarging them wider/taller than a normal die example.
