Is this common on ASE's? I wanted to take my extra ASE's and trade for the ones I don't have. As I was going through them this is what I found. I have 3 2008's they all have doubling. The only difference is the doubling seems to rotate around the coin each of the 08's have different doubling. If you start at 12:00 (top of coin) and go counter clockwise the doubling seems to be shifting on each coin. Is this something new or common & what type of doubling is it. I was told it could be Machine Doubling. Does this add or subtract value & should I hang on to these?

I have had quite a few eagles and have started noticing more
Machine Doubling effects. I'm surprised there are not more seeing
that .999 silver is pretty soft and that they are stamping out a lot
of these coins. Have not seen it on any proof yet though. At least
up to 04
