This is a coin that's been in my collection since way back. No idea when I bought it or what I paid. Looking at it closely today I'm seeing some verdigris getting started and some general dirt. Couple of questions:
1) Grade - VF30/35 maybe?
2) Do the obverse rim dings make it a details coin?
3) I'm thinking an acetone soak first, then Verdi-Care. Thoughts?

I'll say VF-30. Might clean up with Verdi-Care. I don't think the rim issues would detail it.

i agree with VF30 and the rim is not the issue, the verdigris is. acetone will not affect anything on this coin. verdicare can clean it up, however it may reveal, especially under the AMER area, some surface issues

OK, a bit of time in acetone, then 3 hours on each surface with Verdi-Chem. I see good improvement. What say you all? Might need a bit longer on the reverse...

I think ED will eventually detail this coin. Pitting is now evident.

Yeah, I think the area at TES and especially AMER will kill a straight grade. Still needs Verdi to arrest any further deterioration, though.
It's a decent looking Indian otherwise.

Better looking but I think you can use some V/C . Let it soak and then gently pick away at the dirt on the reverse while the V/C is still on it. Do you have an iPad ?

Nope. just a desktop iMac. Going to hit the reverse again tomorrow with VC for a few more hours. Not planning to try to slab this coin - borderline value even if it didn't details due to Obverse ED. Hard to justify a $40ish gamble. VF-30 is greysheet $150.

Ok, I can sit my iPad on a 4 inch thick box and zoom in while I'm picking away. Really helps. All my pics, such as they are, are with my iPad Pro. It does ok, very convenient tool.

VF-details (environmental damage). Very close to straight grading.
