I did go out and visit my Brother's grave at the Phoenix Veteran's Memorial Cemetery (he was only 25) Collecting since 1972. Learning from then on "Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. I Apologize for Posting on Your Post. I Remember the Difference...... My Father served in the USMC , Volunteered on His 21st Birthday, Infantry, Korea, 1951-53, Re-Enlisted in 1965, U S Navy, . My Younger ( little ) Brother, Served in the U S Navy Too, They are Deceased, They did NOT pass while Serving, I Always treated Days like Memorial Day to Honor, Once Again, Those in My Family Who have Served and are Not Living........... My dad was a WWII vet, served in the Pacific with UDT Team #4 and passed away 6 years ago at age 92. I miss him every day. KenKat Pillar of the Community United States 4085 Posts	Posted 05/30/2023 2:22 pm I also like to remember the "Gold Star" families - surviving family of those who perished serving their country. When a son, daughter, wife, husband, father or mother loses a loved one, a part of them dies along with the fallen. I am happy to see this recognized more and more on Memorial Day.
