Ise777 lay the coin flat . bring light the way you did for your photos. do you have aflash light a little one . if you do when you photo slowly raise your flashlight so the light is barrly hitting the left wing and the back edge of the eagles beak. see what I am seeing a rotated strikes. this is a incomplete proof quarter. so please be care full that raised sharp edge is the wing. all you have to do is measure between the edges you will know the degree of rotation . but there is another possible chance of another one . lets try to find them all

No, this is NOT a proof coin, it is a business strike quarter from Denver. (There is a 'D' MM on the obverse)

I messed with highlights and shadow a little on camera edit. I couldn't get a good shot of what you explained. I ordered a microscope camera the other day. If this photo doesn't show what your looking for ill have the microscope photos on monday

Rocky is correct about one thing here though, you should not hold any of your coins you plan on collecting by its surfaces. only by the edges or wear white cotton gloves.

this is a incomplete proof period. this coin is struck in rotation . the first wing is under E PU the next one is where you see it look at the coin. Ise777 could you weight this coin please thank you.
Silvio I am not going to prove this to them yet. Ise777 I will let you know . when I will prove this to you. I dont wont to show this process yet . the forum is not ready for this stuff . Ise777 put your coin in a 2x2 I will get in contact with you . when I get to 1980 in the Washington catalogue. if you want the proof sooner . I will show you the proof and what you will need to certify your coin. I have every thing you will need ok. we will do this

nothing to prove, the Denver mint did NOT produce proofs - PERIOD
