1979 S Or D Lincoln Cent - Coin Community Forum

coinhusker26 Valued Member United States 149 Posts	Posted 06/06/2023 02:52 am So I feel I have this 1979 S but not sure if its a D or possibly a S/D. My reasoning from my personal research and pictures is the top of the first 9 on the S mint sits slightly above the 1. As on the D mint they are even with each other. Also on the S mint the last 9 sits slightly higher then the 7. On the D mint the 7 and 9 are even with each other as well. Edited by coinhusker26 06/06/2023 03:04 am Report this Post to the Staff
