It looks like a Washington quarter struck backwards on a dime planchet. So, maybe? What does the full pic of the coin look like, heads and tails?

Sorry that really makes no sense. The image is just reversed I'm sure.

That gouge is just plain and simple damage.

Is there any coin beyond the circle edge? The whole image just looks edited and odd.

the image was reversed and cropped round then inserted onto another picture that was a grey color background.
Is this a silver quarter? that gouge is quite deep and I'm not seeing any copper core showing...
can you post up the full coin image?

and the huge gouge that is visible is just damage.
