Based on my RedBook pictures I'm still having a hard time telling if it's small or large date. The date itself looks large to me but the arrows look small.

Sorry for the poor picture it's not my coin.

Is-This-A-Type-1-Or-Type-2-1861-Quarter-Eagle?

I don't think there are date varieties for the 1861 quarter eagle. There are however new and old reverse versions. Your coin appears to be the more common new reverse.

I'm sorry I didn't mean date I meant denomination, there is an "old and new." Some call it Type 1 and Type 2 alternatively.
