Hello! We have some coins that we arent sure if they are authentic or replicas that we would love to get your opinions on! I have weighed them, none of them say copy anywhere that I can see. These are some of the old souvenir type replicas made before the copy stamp was mandated. I used to get these in museum and historic area gift shops when I was a kid.
I agree that they appear to have that "cast" look to them. Could they possibly be Period/Contemporary copies? If so, is it possible to tell if they are?
