1kg Silver with Selective Gold Plate: Raven Brings the Light: 102mm: Mintage 450: FV $250 $2,849.95 2 oz Silver: Striking Bald Eagle: 50mm: Mintage 4,500 FV $30, $209.95 1 oz Gold: Striking Bald Eagle: 30mm: Mintage 600: FV $200, $4,299.95 3 oz Silver Selective Colour: Canadian Collage - 4 Seasons: 55mm, Mintage: 2,500: FV $50, $329.95 (limit 2 per) 2oz Silver: Multifaceted Grizzly: 50mm: Mintage 4,500, FV: $30 $209.95 1 oz Silver: 150th Anniversary of PEI joining Confederation: 38mm: Mintage 5,000: FV $20 $104.95 1 oz Silver: 125th Anniversary of Yukon: 38mm: Mintage 5,000: FV $20 $104.95 2023 Base Metal Proof Set with SE Silver Dollar (Kit Coleman) Mintage: 12,500 $119.95 From review on the RCM site, the SE Silver dollar appears the same as the Standalone SD but has shiny fields on both obverse and reverse. I would say it is like the BU releases but since the devices and letters appear frosted, it gets the title proof. Edited by vonigohcr 06/20/2023 3:28 pm

Thank you for the heads up!
I found the bold eagles design interesting. The two eagles look like American Eagle Type 1 & 2 designs. Maybe American Eagle fans will like this.

Earlier than usual monthly release. They usually release coins on the Monday of the last full week before the 1st Tuesday of the month.
Other lackluster release. In fact, nothing stands out so far this year.
The multifaceted grizzly looks the best this month.

Nothing What So Ever....well, maybe the 4-season on one coin, but that too is stretching it. Quite frankly, until they get the King on the Obverse - I think I too am going to boycott these QEII leftover ideas.

An additional release for July not mentioned on the earlier post... I received it as a separate email:
1oz Silver: National Indigenous Peoples Day: 38mm Mintage: 6,500 FV $20, $99.95 Base metal $2: Celebration of First Nations, Inuit and Metis Art & Culture. - Colourized Wrap Mintage 20,000 $79.95 - Special Wrap Set (Colourized and NonColourized): Mintage 10,000 $159.90 for both - Circulating Keepsake Card Set with both $2 (Colour & nonColour) + $1, 25c,10c, 5c
The wraps and cards are also available as subscriptions with a tease of a Loon pair and another $2 pair (Colour & non colour) "Coming Soon". These are unrelated to the Card set with the special 50c released last month.

Quote:From review on the RCM site, the SE Silver dollar appears the same as the Standalone SD... I've reviewed the SE Proof Set page a few times, I get the distinct impression that the SD included in the set is identical to the standalone Proof SD offered earlier in the year - nothing new for the SD collector,

@commems. I thought that as well. Is this set the only way to get the other coins? In other words if I already purchased the stand alone SD, is there reason for me to still get this set as well?

Quote: if I already purchased the stand alone SD, is there reason for me to still get this set as well? As of now, the SE Proof Set appears the only way to get proof versions of the other denominations in base metal/circulation composition. So, if you collect those, this set is the way to get them. It could change later in the year, of course, but for now...

Quote: I get the distinct impression that the SD included in the set is identical to the standalone Proof SD offered earlier in the year - nothing new for the SD collector, I just received the set... You are correct, same as the standalone SD. Disappointed as it looked (maybe my eyes or monitor) that the finish would be different from the standalone. Quote: As of now, the SE Proof Set appears the only way to get proof versions of the other denominations in base metal/circulation composition. Yup.. Only other way is to get these from an online CS (is OCS legit as a variant of LCS?) such as Colonial Acres who split up sets on your behalf... May be useful if you don't want to buy and pay for the full set to split out.
