Excellent looking coin! The light lam, paired with the coloring leads me to believe it is a woody, as the two will go hand in hand on occasion. Congrats on the pick up!

@ MAKE: 1914 centavos this coin was struck in San Francisco and has the same composition as 1914 Cent US. Can you show me and I know you must have woody US Cent 1914? Same alloy , just different Dies. I want to see only one cent with this color. Me I see a cleaned coins and solutions residual on.

Sil, I do not. I'm not like you fancy collectors, most of my finds are from bank rolls. I will occasionally buy something though. I'm pretty comfortable with the woody attribution.

I did look through my cataloged woodies and did not find that color mix but I have several in a pile I have not filed. I'll try to go through them in the next few days.

Don't know if it fits the definition of a woody or not. All I know is I like it and it's purdy.

I am not fancy my friend. I just focus now to live more valuable assets I can in the next last 2 years of my life.. I collected always, Yes I do not collect cent do to the fact to many errors and varieties and never full collection will be done.
I ask you to go to see yours woody because I know you has, so only who has can confirm or infirm.

Me I will be glad to see after an acetone bath how this coin show.
