It might be an area where the copper plating has peeled away, slough I'm not seeing the zinc core. Maybe it was overplated and that is peeling? Can you please post straight on, in focus images of this coin? Thx. If those linear features are 'organic' in nature, the acetone may remove or reduce them. Note: I use the term organic loosely. Report this Post to the Staff
