I came across this nickel when going through rolls. I was wondering if this were a mint error and if so if it would be worth much or collectible at all? I had a quick look different places but didn't really see one similar, so thought best to get some expert input.

Looks like a coffee or soda stain from the pic provided.

A long soak in 100% acetone might reduce or eliminate that stain.

hopefully this is clear enough if will need to get use of a proper camera but it doesn't look to me something on coin but like the finish missing in the discoloured area.

sorry but after taking that last pic I decided to give wipe with soft damp cloth and it was crap on nickel so comment was right I was just stupid :( thanks for the quick responses
