I was watching a few videos, actually watching them for a long time, always used my own items for storage. However, thought about purchasing some clear tubes. I looked online, lots of different kinds.
I would like to purchase generic tubes that can hold coins up to quarters. Curious about which ones are used by the community or DIY.
Thanks

Wizard Coin Supply is an excellent resource.
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

Thanks guys for the info on the coin tubes, going to pick some up and then I thought, how about a Mercury dime book. Wow, I didn't know they had so many makes. Which one is preferred these days? I do have Whitman from years ago but would buy another if it has all the errors etc.

I prefer Dansco. Others like Whitman. It is really more of a personal choice. I do not think you can go wrong with either.

My pleasure. Also, the Littleton albums are pretty decent, but I have never used them. Here is a topic with some comparisons of all three... http://goccf.com/t/356923

I have repurposed glass cigar tubes (for smaller coins) and medicine bottles. I hate to throw stuff out and am always on the lookout for an excuse to save something. Also good excuse to buy cigars!
