The best I can tell from these pics, it's just a scratch (damage), to the coin.

OK-will keep until I find one that supposedly is cracked. So it seems like Die Cracks always are uneven on the surface? I've seen a lot of scratched coins, but this seems so different especially going through so much of the coin and pretty deep. Most scratches are short and light.

Yes, the path of a die crack, from what I have seen so far, has never been a straight line, they are craggy and wander a bit (just like concrete would crack)

Die cracks can be a straight line, but they can't be incuse. A die crack will be raised as material from the planchet flows into the crack during the strike. Scratches like this are incuse because someone has gouged out material f4om the surface.
