This 1984 d appears to have a repunched mint mark. I would appreciate any opinions on whether. I am correct or something else is taking place. Do you think this is worth a premium? I included closeup pictures of the obverse in case someone spots something I have overlooked. For mint mark comparisons, I included a picture of a normal 1984 d. Thank you Below is the rpm coin Below is a normal coin

I don't think it's an RPM. Not seeing any splits on the serifs.
Errers and Varietys.

If you can, give us a nice, clear closeup of just the mint mark. I feel like you have notching and maybe have a match. Better pics are needed though.

Steven, I just noticed you said you have a pic of a normal 84D also. If you are going to do this, you need to label or tell us an order as to which is yours and which is the so called (normal) pic. Having a comparison pic doesn't help if you don't let us know which one is which....

It appears to be circulation flattening here. Not seeing any RPM.

Oh, just saw you explained beneath the pic, sorry. Still need that pic I asked for in order for us to help.

This is what I'm talking about, guys. Maybe nothing but looks like a tilted RPM. Unclear pics can be deceiving though, that's why I'd like a nice clear pic of just the mm.

You have to remember that the modern, zincoln RPM's are very subtle too, they don't jump out at you like some of the older ones.

Here are a few close-up pictures of the mint mark with different lighting.

I see split plating, with the beginning of Zinc Rot. The 3 listed at VV do not match, one an East and two are North. http://www.varietyvista.com/02b%20L...%201984D.htmAnd yeah please only post photos of your coin, placing comparison photos of other coins will/can create confusion. We can go to a link you provide and see the comparison, or in some cases we find that our self's. Thanks

With the closeups you provided, I'm not sure now, what I thought were splits, may have just been shadows. I was thinking cc's 007 but the location looks a little off. The top of your mm looks to have taken a hit, flattening it out too, which does not help. Thanks for getting the extra pics though. Below was what I thought but as I said, it looks off.
