I think the first two are Machine Doubling (push doubling) but the third one has me confused. The third one may not be doubling at all?
Help!

I'm thinking Machine Doubling all around. Nice example. Is it showing on the date and mint mark?

I think you are correct on the first two being MD. The third is very slight, but in examples I've seen, when the top of the L and I are slightly split, the error is a DD. But that is only my understand, and I suggest you seek more expert knowledge than mine. Also, in the third image, the edge of Lincoln's shoulder is doubled.

Definitely Machine Doubling. You can see how the letters are reduced in size.

Thanks John1, this link probably helped me more than any I have seen on doubling, although coop explains it well. I know I am missing something though, because the third image doesn't appear to have changed in size compared to the first two and it seems that the third image is the same height . I posted it because it looked a little different than what I normally see. I am sure you guys see coins every day where a member thinks it's a double die. LOL

Like the link shows there are a lot of doubling that gets lumped in and called Machine Doubling just to keep it simple.

All the doubling looks flat and shelf like indicating Machine Doubling.
