Ex-"Boston Old City Hall Collection" Stack's Bowers June 2018 Baltimore Lot 1437. BB-242, B-5. Rarity-5. Wide Date.

This coin has nice original gray toning. Sharp detail on Draped bust hair and eagle feathers. Surface had been lacquered in the old times. What surprised me is that this coin letters are all square and clear. Most pieces of this period suffer from "fishtailed" letters. It is hard to find a coin with sharp detail yet absent of "fishtailed" letters.

Beautiful. Is that considered graffiti on the bust?

Now that's a coin what is a coin! Big, historic, hefty, incredibly artistic designs with plenty of details to salivate over.

I love Bust and flowing hair dollars. I own one of each but if I could afford it they would be my series to collect. Beautiful and historical.

I used a iphone x to take coin images. Then use online software to squeeze files down.
