looks MS-66 but the photos are soft so are probably hiding small hits that would bring the grade to around 64

I do not think it would go MS66 because of the spotting and the trapped zinc dust, IMHO.

Pics are too soft to see surface details clearly.

You don't have far to go. White balance is excellent, I think compression got you a bit making the pics seem soft. I use crop, paste as new image (Paintshop Pro) and resize to 1000x1000 pixels and save as jpg - my pictures are under the forum limit every time.

Only other suggestion is some direct light to bring out the luster. Looks like mostly diffuse light hitting the coin. Adjust it so you get "cartwheel spokes" and some reflection back to your camera.

Good Luck (and keep those Lincolns coming)!

yes, better, MS-65, except those plating bubbles might hold it back to 64

Much better! Stick with a WHITE background though. It lets us know if your white balance is correct. Looks like a solid 65 to me.

the reverse is pretty weak but I think it may be enough to grade at MS65 not 100% of color but i'll call it RD
