The serial number is 18644468. The bill is in average condition. I'm considering putting it up for auction. Does the serial number make it worth anything to collectors?

Almost a perfect palindrome. Someone will probably give you more that $1 for it. Possibly more.
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

Radar Notes have palindromic serial numbers - that means they read the same forward and backward. An example of this is a serial number that reads "02344320" or "24244242." but this is not one of those.

It is not a radar as above which would be 18644681. (12344321) https://www.PCGS.com/news/what-are-radar-notes
https://oldmoneyprices.com/serial-numbers/ It does have two pairs (6s and 8s, plus a triple (4). You can check ebay sold listings for $1 bills with two pairs and a triple. I'm not sure when they are not next to each other such as 6644488 how much less demand it would have. Certainly not worth auctioning, only perhaps slightly above face value. Typically if it doesn't jump out at you right away it doesn't to other potential buyers either.
