I have a 1996 quarter as you see they start on the left and end on the right side of United States of America and Quarter Dollar. I have never seen or heard of this
That is a very confident post title... you know, this isn't an ebay listing, we'll respond even if you give it a descriptive/not sensationalized post title. What you're seeing here is Machine Doubling. A worthless form of doubling that occurs when the die bounces slightly after the strike and pinches the coin, flattening and "doubling" some of the design elements before it's ejected from the striking chamber. Worth 25 cents.
