I suppose I need to consider toning, but the detail is great in the hair.

Shall I say MS63 or higher?

This my first guess on any quarter, so your opinion will help me grade my other coins.

I give it a B+

OK just kidding

This quarter looks like an MS coin marked up with bag marks, very little wear, so I'll say MS63

And thank you for cropping this coin, Nice image all round.

It appears like you posted up the image of 2 different reverses here, which one belongs to the obverse? Or is the different angle of lighting highlighting the bag marks differently?

cant assess originality of surfaces using the photos. too much glare. we need to able to see how much if any luster is remaining and if there is any breaks in it as well as all the marks on the obv

do not use any flash or overhead lighting.

new photos are much better. they show surfaces that have had circulation. mid AU. i'll call it AU55. may not grade straight due to the obv hits however its only worth face value.
