finding unscathed US coins in Italy can be a huge challenge. we have another member on this site that is also on the lookout for straight graded US coins there.
although your photos are not that bad I have serious concerns about the originality of the surfaces particularly the reverse. assessing PL qualities from a photo is challenging without a reference of depth. the best way to show this is to stand the coin on its edge and place some newsprint in front of it, then measure the depth of the words you can read when looking at the reflection on the coin.
i think the reverse surfaces are broken and probably disqualify it from a PL designation. not sure if the reverse was cleaned at some point but it has the look that it was. the missing luster and hits on the obv would hold the coin to no more than MS62
