Legend on the medal states that he was one of the many world famous people in history. Famous for what it doesn't say!

@the, first welcome to CCF. Second, I suspect that this round was originally part of a group with multiple famous people from history, somewhat similar to the sets that Littleton Co. puts together in the USA.

I only see the silver purity and a copyright symbol. Is there any marking at all on the edge?

Wikipedia says that Hans Moser was an Austrian comedy actor, both pre-war and post-war. The medal obviously dates to sometime after Moser's death in 1964.

I can't find any other examples of the medal either. Given the German language, I would assume they were made in Germany/Austria, and any Internet references to them are in German. I would guess the issuer was a Franklin-Mint-style "medal of the month" seller.

There's nothing stamped on the edge?

Thank you all for the answers!
This is a flea market find. Nothing stamped on the edge, and yet I can't find noting for other medals from this serie.
But.... research continues :)

Thank you again!
