I found some similar coins from Algeria but no exact matches. It's 33.5mm, 6.7 grams with a smooth edge. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

@sup, that looks like a token to me rather than a coin. We generally describe them as jewelry imitation ottoman tokens. The thin, holed ones might have been used for belly dancer costumes. Here is a link to one somewhat similar to yours.

Yes, I agree with Spence, not a coin, something probably made for jewelry. Will just add that the writing is not genuine Arabic.

it is not a coin its a propaganda medal issued 1857 by the gouverneur general de l`algerie to comemorate the victory of marechal Randone at kabylia.There are six medals of different size from 0.5 gr. / 10 mm up to 7 gr. / 27 mm .in copper or brass slightly silver-coated .
