...this little piece was cut from a larger coin...
...detail is poor on one side & a lot worse on the other ...
...bought as "Spanish Islamic", but don't find any Islamic coins with a cross within a circle, with lions in the quadrants ...
...description in the 1st pic, comparative size in the 2nd ...
...good luck with this one, hope someone recognizes the design, probably from the center of the coin ...

sorry...forgot to mention ...I believe it is silver, maybe lower grade than .931, bought as sliver, with no description of silver content. Could be billon, but has the appearance of higher grade, possibly around 80%or so ... wish I could give a better answer...
