Illiterate Valued Member United States 68 Posts	Posted 07/19/2023 3:45 pm So, it's my understanding that there are no silver nickels other than the wartime nickels. I have a 1939, I believe, no mint Jefferson nickel that I just thought I would test. There are four different reactions each representing silver content. If I did the test right, which I did several times all having the same outcome, the test did come back as having silver content. It was the lowest content amount but content nevertheless. Has my kit deceived me or am I just high? Report this Post to the Staff
