I apologize in advance if I am incorrectly posting I a new topic. I did search the forum before posting. Can someone please show me the Flower in Hair error on these new quarters. I have found many for sale and many topics on line but nothing is very clear. I wad wandering if someone could circle this error for me? Thank you in advance.

To CCF! I have never heard of this error before. What do you mean by it?

to the CCF "flower in hair" is just a catchy name utube or facebook come up with to make you think you found a valuable coin. I'm going to say it's just a minor die chip in the hair. Chips are very common on these quarters. Worth .25 cents. The CCF is site you need to stick with to learn what's an error or variety.

The image with red circles is mine. The ? With circle I am asking if it is an error when there is the blob in the hair..I have many without the blob and many with.. the one circled in yellow is the one I found on the attached link.
Thank you for your patience as I learn about collecting. My first find was the Wilma P Mankiller quarter with the die break on the reverse and the Cud on the obverse.
Thank you again

It is just part of the design here. the mind will let you see lots of things that makes no sense into something that does - Pareidolia
Just like that new UK coin with King Charles III on it and his ear looks like a parrot.

Dang you Dearborn, now I can't unsee this. Mandy that is the area on these quarters to look for errors and varieties. There are clashes in that spot. Also there are Feeder Finger Damage in that spot also which is technically damage to the die, but some people collect them.

@Dearborn wow, the ear really does look like it has a parrot perched on it! Better sell that on Etsy for 10 million dollars
