Also, I forget if I've asked you this before, but do you flyfish? A Copper John is a famous fly pattern, and I've always wondered if that's what your username was in reference to.

Thanks guys! Yeah, finger print is a bit ugly, but I'm always just happy when a circulated zinc cent doesn't have any verdigris or exposed zinc, so I consider one like this a big win!

Thanks Tropical! Hadn't realized this one was on the rarer side until I checked population reports after finding it and was pleasantly surprised! For some reason, had always been under the impression this one was pretty common!

SamCoin, no I tried it a few times in the 70s. Couldn't get the hang of it, went back to spin casting. I remember something about a Copper John pattern, but no. Cu is from me working with copper wire for 46 years.
