I am not an expert on coins, I just found this in my coin jar from 15 yrs ago and thought it looked unique. Can anyone tell me if it is of any value? Hopefully this pic is better....

Now with the new photos, it appears to be stains from Environmental Damage. PMD.

seems like environmental or chemical damage.

It is a copper/greenish color. Just to be sure, what does the edge of the coin look like? Can you see the nickel clad layers in a sandwich around the copper core? That's the quickest way to check, unless you have a gram scale handy.

Yeah, you can see the nickel layer is present and just discolored. The mass is correct, too. Just a stained coin, although it looks pretty cool. For 25c, it might be a fun keeper.
