I don't see a Cud, but certainly lots of die chips and die cracks. Interesting looking coin for sure.

I wasn't saying there was a Cud. I was asking for help to determine if the "globs" were Cuds or something else. The last cent that I posted with lots of die crack, I was told to check out Cuds On Coins and that's where I came up with the term. Sorry..Thanks

No apology necessary - we gladly take all questions! Cuds involve the rim and are a result of a die break that sometimes falls off or is sometimes retained - but all of them involve the rim. Your 'globs' appear to be the result of internal die breaks. I don't believe that would be classified as true Cuds but I could be wrong on that.

Thanks.. It may not be something special, but I like it. I have a 2X2 ready and waiting. Appreciate all the comments.

Nice find. I wonder how much longer that die survived. Most of those cracks are in recessed areas that take a lot of pressure.

That Lincoln is certainly overrun with interesting die events. FYI - I've often seen die chips in the wheat stalks referred to as "bugs."
