I purchased about 5,000 in dollars quarters nickels, dimes and pennies and got tired after about 5 months of looking through them and not knowing if I found anything I did sell about 8 star note dollars that were rare for 250.00 that gave me hope so I have lots of coins to display and see if they are worth anything we will star with this 1983 nickel that is all jacked up please let me know what the error is called and if its an error and most importantly if its worth money

Cannot evaluate with any certainty given the size of the posted pics. This may be a post-strike damage issue--cannot be sure. No value in that.
