Wondered what your thoughts are on this. Think the reverse looks legit like an actual Cud but the obverse not so sure about. Our LCS is having an auction and I like this coin as I've never even seen a real Cud in person. The rim on the obverse looks like it hasn't been compromised at all compared to the reverse. I'm not asking for estimates but just wonder if you all think it's an actual Cud. Thanks for your help.

Thanks bobby. So you think it looks legit? I'm no 'Blakesley' effect expert but what I have learned about it is from this community. Thought the reverse lined up nicely in relation to the obverse but the obverse looked almost too perfect around the neck bust. Then again, as I mentioned I've never seen one in person and have a chance to get this one from my LCS so that would be cool. Thanks again for the help!

Looks absolutely legit to me, MakesNoCentsToMe. I'd certainly be bidding on it were I there.
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

It Looks familiar and Legit, Very Large Cud...

When the coin sits flat, Does the Reeded Edge have a Copper Presence, or ?

No Indication or History of maybe a Date, ? Thanks, Mike..

Make I never see before and I doubt it is listed. Believe I past over 500K quarters on my hands and still have 6K unsearched, but never see one as this. I will bid also.

It's definitely a real Cud, there's no need to worry about that.

Very nice Cud! I have seen quarters presented here that showed the die crack under the bust that could have been pre-cursers to a Cud like this.

@Morgan I have no idea of the date or how it sits. I haven't seen it in hand. You folks know as much as I do about it. lol A weight would be helpful to narrow it down as well.

@Silvi the RDV-010 is a Bicentennial or am I missing something. Are you thinking it's an RDV-011? Would date it from like 1977 to 1980? Thanks.
